(Other) 5 (more) benefits of red meat:
1. Source of vitamin B12. Vitamin B12, like the other B vitamins, is important for protein metabolism. It helps the formation of red blood cells in the blood and the maintenance of the central nervous system.
2. Source of creatine. It helps to gain lean mass, increases the diameter of the muscle fiber and improves physical performance, as well as helps in the prevention of sports injuries.
4. Keeps blood sugar level stable. Controlling glucose levels, for both diabetic and non-diabetic people, provides benefits such as: having constant energy during the day, being awake and alert after eating, and preventing hunger attacks.
5. This benefit is totally subjective, but we think everyone here agrees. There is no tastier food to share around a table with your favorite people.
